The American Retirees Association (ARA) and its Mission

ARA has served divorced military personnel both active, reserve and retired since 1979 The organization was established primarily to deal with the impact of the Uniformed Services Former Spouses Protection Act (USFSPA) (10 U.S.C. 1408 et seq.) on uniformed service personnel, but has since widened its scope to include current news of interest to veterans and comment concerning military divorce legislation in general both state and national. We also work to provide information and resource material about legislative initiatives that could directly affect veterans and their spouses, divorced or seeking divorce. Please bookmark our site and return to watch it continue to grow and develop.
